In a manner similar to an advertising campaign, Franz Hoefner and Harry Sachs will use forms more familiar to us from events to create a small, mobile forest in the streets in order to cover up and conceal advertising installations that try to pass themselves off as street furniture.

This project will put the spotlight on private business promises to deliver “quality of life” through ”municipal marketing and city branding” and to make “public spaces truly open and accessible”. The heart of Neukölln actually does have very few trees per inhabitant, but lots of outdoor advertising. Do we want a forest or do we want Wall – how do we want to furnish our public spaces?”
